JS Bank organized Zindagi Prize, a social entrepreneurship competition at Government College Women University Faisalabad on 20 Feb. 2023 for students across the country. The aim of the competition was to encourage young minds to come up with innovative solutions to address the social and economic challenges facing the country. The Campus Round of the competition was held at Government College Women University Faisalabad, where 24 participating teams from different departments presented their innovative ideas. After a rigorous evaluation process, Lady Launchers from the Department of Public Administration were declared the winners of the Campus Round and were awarded a cash prize of 30k. The winning team, Lady Launchers, presented an innovative idea to address the issue of safety for female riders in Faisalabad Panjab Pakistan. Their idea was to have female drivers exclusively for female riders, which would not only ensure the safety of women but also broaden employment opportunities for women. Addressing the issue of transportation is crucial for increasing women's labor force participation, promoting gender equality, and empowering women to achieve their goals. Department of Public Administration would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the university administration and JS Bank for organizing this event to provide an incredible platform for our students in the Public Administration Department to showcase their entrepreneurial skills.
